Cheryl A. Schad, BA Ed, CPC, ACS-RA, PCS is a nationally recognized Reimbursement Specialist and owner of Schad Medical Management, a physician reimbursement/compliance consulting firm with emphasis on CPT and ICD-9 coding. Cheryl’s personal area of expertise is Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. She has performed numerous workshops, seminars, and audio conferences for Decision Health, The Coding Institute, The American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and for American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA). Cheryl has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare field.

Cheryl is the Chairman of the Radiology Committee of the Board of Medical Specialty Coding. She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Radiology Coding Alert, published monthly by The Coding Institute, Naples, FL. She is also a past member of the National Advisory Executive Board of the American Academy of Professional Coders and is a current member of American Healthcare Radiology Administrators.
